Acest numar este urmat de o litera ce indica nivelul de concentratie ce poate fi determinat (H ,M, L reprezentand concentratii mari, mijlocii si respectiv mici) - metoda nu necesita echipamente complicate, iar rezultatul este obtinut imediat - se pot determina un numar mare de substante in functie de tubul colorimetric utilizat - usor de utilizat si nu necesita intretinere
